Pavel Šporcl will play Dvorak violin concerto with English Symphony Orchestra under Kenneth Woods
On Saturday the 26th January and Sunday the 27th January 2019.
Šporcl’s recording of his countryman’s concerto under V. Ashkenazy has been hailed by Gramophone as “…a warmly idiomatic reading…tonal variety and expressiveness….magnetic.”

Violinist-composer Jan Kubelik, father of conductor Rafael Kubelik, was one of the world’s biggest music celebrities, then faded into obscurity with the outbreak of war.
