We are happy to share the release of Mavroudes Troullos’s first album with music by Luigi Concone for bassoon and harp with the harpist Rachel Talitman on the label Harp & Co.
The program is a world premier.
It is great that an Italian composer and harpist from the first half of the 19th century – Concone, had already appreciated the unique combination of those two instruments and wrote 6 Sonatas. It is very rare to find original music for bassoon and harp from that era.
